At Roston Castings, we offer in-house CNC machining and tool making to complement our casting service. This means we can offer our customers an end to end service, removing the need for costly and time consuming sub contracting. Moreover, it means we can ensure the levels of quality we are renowned for at every step of the process.
CNC Machining
CNC machining onsite comes with a whole host of benefits. By removing the need to engage subcontractors for this work, the process is cheaper and quicker – meaning our customers get their product for less than with other foundries. Additionally, it enables us to ensure quality control at every stage of the process and maintain tolerances exactly to the customer’s specification. We are also able to make jigs and fixtures in-house.
Onsite Tool Room
Whatever the issue – we’ve got the tools on site to fix it. No waiting around. No expensive contractors. We can make repairs and modifications quickly and effectively, preventing delays in your process and ensuring deadlines are met.
Tooling in line with new methods
After 60 years of experience, we know the best methods in casting, and always look to recommend and use the most suitable methods into the tooling designs. These include core operation methods, feeder/riser layout, venting requirements and ejection methods. These features are easy to overlook, but they will determine the success of the actual casting process and the quality of the casting produced from the tooling.
